Use the same formatting to multiple cells, the easiest way

I’m using the Format Painter Tool in this Excel Tip and Trick to apply to same formatting in non connecting cells.

 

•  If you want to use the same formatting on “random” cells you need to click on cell A1.
• And double click on the Format Painter Tool.
• Now you can click on the cells you want to apply this formatting on.

You can also apply the Format Painter for columns or rows.

Now I want the same formatting as row 1.

 

•  Now click on the 1 on the right side of the spreadsheet.
•  Click on Format Painter
•   And click on 5
